Rocketeer Orbit

Privacy notice

Last updated 31 October 2026

This notice explains what happens to your information when you visit rocketeerorbit.com. It is short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Rocketeer Enterprise Ltd runs this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 09210520. Our registered office is Shire Hall Business Centre, Market Street, Stafford, ST16 2LD. We are the controller of the information described here, and you can reach us at hello@rocketeerorbit.co.uk.

What we collect

When you visit. Our hosting and security providers record technical details of each request to the site. These include your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, your browser and device type, and the page that sent you here.

When you email us. If you write to hello@rocketeerorbit.co.uk, we keep your message, your email address and anything else you choose to tell us, so that we can reply.

When you book a call. We ask for your name, your business, your email address and the time you pick. Your browser also tells us its time zone, so the times and your invite are shown in your own.

When you register your interest. The “Register your interest” and “Stay updated?” boxes ask for your email address only. We email you a link to confirm it. Until you click the link, our server holds your address for up to seven days and then deletes it. Once you confirm, it goes on our list.

When you ask us a question. The “Ask us anything” box sends your question through our server to RAI, our own AI model, which writes the answer. RAI runs on our own equipment in our office in the UK, so your question does not go to any outside AI provider. We keep your question and the answer, with the time, so that we can see what people ask and improve this site and our service. We do not keep your IP address or anything else that says who you are, and we do not use questions or answers to train any AI model. Please don’t include personal details in a question.

To stop abuse of the forms. Our server counts how often each connection uses them in an hour. It keeps a one-way coded version of your IP address for this, never the address itself, and deletes it once the hour is over. The sign-up and booking boxes also count how often each email address is used, so that no one can fill an inbox with our emails. That count is a one-way coded version too, and it is deleted within a week.

What this site leaves out. It sets no cookies. It has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no social media widgets. Fonts, images and video come from our own server.

Why we use it

We use the technical records and the form counts to keep the site secure, find faults and block abuse. We use your emails to answer you. Our legal basis for both is legitimate interests. Where you write to us about our services, it is also taking steps at your request.

We use your booking details to arrange the call, put it in our calendar and send you an invite. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract.

We use the email address you register to send you news about Rocketeer Orbit. Our legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in any of those emails, or by replying to one, and we will take you off the list.

We use your questions to answer them, and the questions and answers we keep to see what people want to know and to improve this site and our service. Our legal basis is legitimate interests: answering people who ask about our services and making them better.

Who we share it with

Four providers help us run the site, our calendar and our email. They act on our instructions.

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising. Cloudflare, Google and Resend may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. They rely on safeguards approved under UK data protection law for those transfers.

How long we keep it

Our web server logs are kept for seven days and then deleted automatically. Cloudflare keeps its own logs under its own retention rules. We keep emails for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and for a reasonable time afterwards.

We keep booking details for as long as we need them to arrange and follow up the call, and for no more than 12 months after it unless we go on to work together. An address that is never confirmed is deleted after seven days. We keep a confirmed address on our list until you ask us to remove it. The form counts are deleted once their hour or week is over.

We keep questions and the answers to them for 12 months, then delete them automatically.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you. You can ask us to correct it, delete it or limit how we use it. You can object to how we use it, and you can ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@rocketeerorbit.co.uk and we will reply within one month. To find anything in our server logs, we will need your IP address and the date of your visit. To find a question you asked, we will need the words you typed and roughly when, because we do not keep anything that says who asked.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

We will update this page when what we do changes, and we will change the date at the top.
